MathType is an equation-based software created by Design Science. The program is made to help teachers structure mathematical problems for their students in a single program, without being forced to hand write all math assignments (or rely solely on problems in textbooks). If you no longer need MathType on your computer, you can remove it from your system.

Instructions

Click "Start > Control Panel." Momentarily, the Control Panel window loads onto the screen.

Double-click either "Programs" or "Add or Remove Programs" (depending on the operating system currently being used). A new window appears with all the programs currently installed on the system.

Scroll through the list of programs installed on the computer. Select "MathType" once you have located it on the list.

Click "Remove" and a prompt window appears, asking if you are sure you want to remove the program. Select "Yes" and the uninstall wizard appears on the screen. Select "Uninstall," and the MathType program is removed from your computer.
