But the main focus and raison d’etre (or reason for being) is the focus on YOU, to encourage and enable you to define yourself by tens, or even hundreds of FREE classified ads, to offer to the world whatever tasks or jobs you now do, or would like to do, to enable you to find a market for your services. Here is a great opportunity to re-define yourself economically. What I want you to do (and have already done in part for myself – look at my ads) is to spend some time with a pad (or notebook) and pen (or pencil) and write down the things you have learned to do over the past years, or the things you would like to do and believe you would be capable of doing, if you had the chance. These are just examples to get you to think about what you would like to do. There are millions of things I have not listed, such as helping people get book or magazine article ideas; help them in the research and writing of the book or article; and helping people market their writing or other creative output.

Now, what is it that is right for you? Think about the jobs you have done. Years ago, my first legal task was to file Uniform Commercial Code Financing Statements throughout all 50 states; also, I set up corporations in various states; I worked with real estate and see various ways in which computers can be used to recognize and obtain higher value out of real estate or other property; perhaps you can figure out how to prevent identity theft; perhaps you can offer states, counties and officials or voter groups information about how to prevent voter fraud – as I said, the list keeps getting longer and longer. How to Write the Ads

The best way to approach writing an ad, I believe, is to first of all try to imagine what words someone would use to find an advertiser offering the task you have in mind. When you identify such words, put them in your ad, even though there may be some duplication of idea. The trick is to say enough so that someone can find you when making a search of all the classified ads using several key words. Just have those words in your ad, and the user should find you, unless there are too many others offering the same thing. This brings up the issue of whether you should be offering something as commonplace as mowing a lawn – because you may have 100 others in your area who are offering to do the same thing. What about offering to rent your lawnmower or to repair lawnmowers instead?

Anyway, I think you get the drift of what you can do to market yourself by the advertising of tasks you wish to perform for money.

The “To Do” List – How to Get Your List Done More Quickly and Less Expensively

The other side of the market is equally important, but a little more sophisticated. Many of us, whether businesspersons, professionals, students, teachers, government officials, homemakers, builders, garage mechanics and others create a list of things that have to be done and update that list daily, hourly or at some other interval.

Much of the time we select some easy-to-do items on the list and do them, and feel good that we have made some headway in removing items from our list. Some items remain there for days, weeks, months or even years, and it is these items for which www.myclads.com was created. The reason that many items linger on a list too long is that they are more difficult for me to accomplish and I put off doing the item because I know that the work will be longer and more difficult than many of the other items on the list.
